Right now, the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society in New Mexco desperately needs foster homes for the influx of pets from Los Alamos County, where a mandatory evacuation order has been issued because of spreading wildfires.
They are working with other groups to make arrangements for evacuated farm animals.
