When Lisa O. lost her beloved Penny Black in April, little Rosie (Rosetta) brought some much-needed laughter back into her life.
“My precious Penny will never be replaced in my heart, but I was happy to have a Corgi at my feet again when I’m on the computer!”
“Little Rosie is six months old now. She loves kids and gets all excited when she sees any. She’s always eager to see my teenage son and daughter come home from school, greeting them with her bunny ears, a whole body wag and plenty of kisses. Rosie makes it quite clear, though, that she doesn’t like to be held and is not a lap dog!”
Also — nobody puts Rosie in the corner … unless she wants to be there. 😉
“Our girl has kept us laughing with puppy pranks like playing in her water bowl with her paws and popping out from under the bed to attack our feet.”
“Rosie enjoys annoying Scott, her big brother Sheltie. When he’s had enough and growls, she makes a dash for the space beneath the chair.”
Of course, that can only last just so long!
“I think this photo looks like a burnt Thanksgiving turkey”. Touche! (Or is that “tush-ay?)
“By the second day we had Rosie, my daughter had taken more than 90 photos of her.”
Who wouldn’t? A wonderful peanut like that begs to be photographed!
Yay Rosie!
Thanks for sharing your pup, Lisa. Looks like a bit of Penny Black’s spirit lives on in this youngster … do you think that’s a complete coincidence?
