Meet Theodore Paddington Legg (“Teddy”) and his Mom Andrea.
Andrea is a librarian at Tuscawaras County Public Library in New Philadelphia, Ohio, where patrons are invited to “Geek the Library”.
Andrea explains: “We really felt that our library system needed to jazz up its image and promote itself as a dynamic place. We’re not just about dusty books and old encyclopedias — we’re places where anyone can visit to learn more about whatever it is they ‘geek.’ Do you have a passion for scrapbooking? Are you obsessed with Chicago Bears football? Whatever it is you’re passionate about, your public library supports you with materials to enrich your interests and make your hobbies more fulfilling.”
