Good morning everyone, and welcome to my eighth weekly guest spot on The
Daily Corgi! I am your host Paige Davis, founder of CorgiPals. As you know, every week I’ll be doing a guest post to keep you up to snuff with the goings-on in the CorgiPals world. This week’s theme: Of Calendars and Corgis!
First, I’d like to wish everyone a Happy November. I hope everyone had a safe and fun time on Halloween. Here are the costumes Dexter and Violet wore when we went trick-or-treating with the kids. 🙂

Second, the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The winners of the 2013 CorgiPals Corgi Lingo Calendar contest have been announced! Click HERE to find out who the lucky furkids are!

Next, I’d like to introduce you to the two newest CorgiPals clients. First up is Mr. Casey! His campaign is
heartbreaking, urgent and relatively low cost. Casey is a 10 year old
Pembroke Welsh Corgi who has recently been experiencing rectal bleeding.
His Corgi Mom, Charlotte, has been unemployed for a year and is having
trouble getting the funds together to have Casey accurately diagnosed
and treated. She said he’s gotten to the point that he seems pretty uncomfortable from having to eliminate so often and kind of groans when he sits.
Sadly, after a vet visit yesterday, it was discovered that Casey had a tumor in his intestinal tract that was obstructing his rectum. After a hard day of bad news, Corgi Mom Charlotte made the decision to put Casey at peace. I called his vet yesterday and paid his $330 bill. His campaign had raised $389, so the remaining funds will be distributed amongst the other Corgis and his campaign has come to a close. Please see Casey’s page for a special thank you message from Charlotte.

RIP Casey <3 |
Our second new client is Mr. Jarvis! This happy boy was let out of his yard and hit by a car. After being taken to the vet it was discovered that his shin was shattered, and he may need a prosthetic limb. Unfortunately, Jarvis was not a candidate for a prosthetic and his leg was removed on October 23. He is now battling through the pain and learning how to get around on three legs, while his Corgi Mom Angela and her husband struggle to make ends meet with his vet bill looming over them. Jarvis only needs $650. Please spread the word so we can help his family focus on his healing and not the financial strain this has placed on them.
Visit his page for video of how well he’s getting around! |
That about wraps it up for this week. As always, please spread the word about our Corgis in need, and keep on Corgi’n on!
