Good morning everyone, and welcome to my weekly guest spot on The Daily Corgi! I am your host Paige K. Davis, founder of CorgiPals. As you know, every week I’ll be doing a guest post to keep you up to snuff with the goings-on in the CorgiPals world. This week’s theme: A one, and a two, and a…!

First up… the return of a familiar face! Brittany has been battling cancer for about a year now. She has been a client of both the Helping Paws and The Baxter Valentine Fund campaigns. She has had tumors both on the inside and on the outside of her bladder, and now her Corgi Mom Mandisa needs a little more help paying for chemo treatments in the amount of $2,854. Let’s help Brittany get the treatment she needs to beat this cancer once and for all!
Next up, it’s time to meet our newest Helping Paws client Yoda! This sweet boy is almost 12 years old and has had problems with his back for several years. Corgi Mom Tavia has been caring for Yoda since July 2011. A visit to the vet recently revealed a ruptured disc in his spine. Yoda has had surgery to correct this, but needs help paying for the cost of water treadmill therapy and a few acupuncture sessions to help him fully recover. Ten treadmill sessions and 2-3 acupunctures will cost roughly $790. I know we can raise this for Yoda and help him live out his remaining years on this Earth free of pain!
REMINDER: our next auction, Spring Cleaning for Corgis, will take place from Saturday, March 16 through Saturday, March 30! The auction will, as always, take place on our Facebook page. If you have items you’d like to donate, please send a description, quantity, suggested starting bid, and picture to Paige at corgipals@gmail.com.
That about wraps it up for this week. As always, please spread the word about our Corgis in need and keep on Corgi’n on!
Oh, and don’t forget… CorgiPals has a company goal that we are trying to reach. We are trying to get our Facebook page to 5,000 “likes” by the end of 2013. We
