Catching Up with CorgiPals: Sharing the Wealth

Good morning everyone, and welcome to my weekly guest spot on The Daily Corgi! I am your host Paige K. Davis, founder of CorgiPals. As you know, every week I’ll be doing a guest post to keep you up to snuff with the goings-on in the CorgiPals world. This week’s theme: Sharing the Wealth!

First,
I would like to introduce our newest client. Frank is an 8 week old Pembroke puppy that was diagnosed with Parvo just two days after coming to his new home with Corgi Mom Genevieve. His treatment is urgent and will cost around $1,600. I’m happy to report that Frank actually reached his goal within an hour of me launching his campaign! I am leaving his campaign running through this weekend, because SO MANY people have asked to make donations to CorgiPals in Frank’s name, so he can share the wealth! Next, I thought I’d share an update on sweet Millie, the blind Corgi that is currently our client FURTHEST from reaching her goal. For those of you that have not had the pleasure of reading about this amazing girl, Millie is a rescue girl who came into her new home with many problems, the worst of which was her eyes. Millie lost her eyes a few years ago and is now bravely battling cancer. She currently still needs $5,959 to cover to cost of her treatments. Yesterday I received a great update on Millie, complete with new pictures, which you can read on her page on the CorgiPals website.

Finally, a REMINDER that our current fundraiser auction, Spring Cleaning for Corgis, is now on through Saturday, April 6! The auction, as always, is taking place on our Facebook page. If you still have items you’d like to donate, it’s not too late! Just send a description, quantity, suggested starting bid, and picture to Paige at corgipals@gmail.com.

The CorgiPals Auction benefits Corgis like Bosco, who still needs $1,550 to reach his goal.

Oh, and don’t forget … CorgiPals has a company goal that we are trying to reach. We are trying to get our Facebook page to 5,000 “likes” by the end of 2013. We
are currently at 4,696 fans! Please spread the word to help us reach
our goal! Remember, every person who knows about CorgiPals is one more
soldier in our army fighting for Corgis in need all over the globe!
