One of The Daily Corgi’s posts has been translated into German and published on the delightful and informative website Welsh Corgi News.
Corgi owner and enthusiast Anita Nordlunde runs the site from her home in Switzerland. Welsh Corgi News is updated regularly with interesting articles, tales, stories and poems from around the world about our favorite four-legged companions.
Anita contacted Dr. Bobbie Mayer after reading her Daily Corgi guest post on enhancing quality of life for Corgis with Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) and Intervertebral Disk Disease (IVDD). “I have the feeling that people in Europe are more inclined than people in the United States (and possibly the UK) to euthanize dogs when they come down with IVDD and cannot walk anymore (with or without surgery) or in later stages of DM.”
“I think your story could convince them that a Corgi still has a quality of life, even in a cart.” The translated post in German is at the Welsh Corgi News site here, and in English here.
