Good morning Corgi Nation, and welcome to my weekly guest spot on The Daily Corgi! I am your host Paige K. Davis, founder of CorgiPals. As you know, every week I do a guest post to keep you up to snuff with the goings-on in the CorgiPals world.
First,
I want to wish everyone in Corgi Nation a very Happy Holidays on behalf
of the whole CorgiPals Team! Dexter and Violet are very excited to open
presents on Christmas morning. They’ve been snooping around in my
present-hiding-places … do your Corgis do the same? How do they KNOW??
I’ve gotten several questions about our world famous fleece Corgi hats, so here’s the skinny. There’s good news and bad news. BAD NEWS: Hats are sold out for the remainder of 2013 and will be re-listed in 2014. Why? I’m tired. I’m REALLY tired. Which brings me to the good news. GOOD NEWS: I’m tired because I’ve made and sold 764 hats to Corgi lovers in every state and 13 countries around the world. Minus the hats I’ve donated and/or donated to grieving families, I’ve raised about $28,000 for Corgis in need JUST with hat sales. Pretty cool statistics. 🙂
So yeah, Paige needs a break. Seriously, if I see one more piece of fleece, I’m going to go all Paige Rage and set it on fire. Not pretty 😉
And now an update on…
The 2013 Corg-athon presented by CorgiPals!
The Corg-athon is a major fundraiser for the Holiday Season… a chance
to give back, spread joy, and help families with Corgis in need. The
fundraiser will run from Tuesday, December 10 through Christmas Eve
Tuesday, December 24. Skip straight to the donate page HERE.
Every
person that donates at least $5 to Corgis in need via this fundraiser
will be entered into a drawing to win a custom CorgiPals hat, key chain,
and a $25 Petsmart/Petco gift card (winner’s choice). There will be
FOUR WINNERS selected randomly. We currently have 14 clients, and all
donations will be split evenly between them. On Christmas Day I will announce the grand total of donations, and the four winners! So far we have raised $2,253!!!
Finally, a reminder that the 2014 CorgiPals Corgi Lingo Calendar is NOW ON SALE in our CafePress Shop! You can view the winners of the 2014 CorgiPals Corgi Lingo Calendar Contest on our website and/or our Facebook page! All profits will go to Corgis in need via CorgiPals. Corgi on in 2014!
That about wraps it up for this week! Oh, and don’t forget … CorgiPals has a new company goal that we are trying to reach. We are trying to get our Facebook page to 10,000 “likes” by the end of 2014. We
are currently at 7,473 fans! Please spread the word to help us reach
our goal! Remember, every person who knows about CorgiPals is one more
soldier in our army fighting for Corgis in need all over the globe! Keep
