Meet Holiday “Poopfoot” Jones, a one year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi born in Camarthenshire, Wales, right outside Pembroke. She is named after the famous chanteuse Billie Holiday because and loves to sing and talk!
She is very friendly and enjoys saying hello to everybody. Holiday loves her bones, her tail (which she still has, as docking is banned in the UK), licking, and running around the countryside and the beach. Her favorite beach is Llantwit Major, where she races the coast and the cliffs and never gets tired! Holiday lives in Cardiff, the capital of Wales.
Like most Corgis, she’s friendly with everybody and greets them with a wide smile. Holiday makes a lot of what Mom calls “Wookie” noises.
Holiday enjoys “strutting along in the bay and sneaking scraps from Mom’s plate at all the cafes”. She clearly knows she can get away with it, and has since she was a pup.
With a face like this, you would too!

An extra special welcome to “Poopfoot”, the first Welsh Corgi on the blog who actually lives in Wales!
You go, girl.

Corgi Power!

You know, I thought Pems were bred to have no tails… that's what Wikipedia says! I don't want to get a Corgi someday only to find out her tail's been docked!

OMG, another one that just gushes out cuteness! I am an ignoramus about corgis; I didn't know that their tales were cropped! No wonder they have that little stump to show off those shaggy shanks! This is a wonderful breed. Anita

Man, I love that little fox-tail!
It's funny, how much it changes their look, but it's sure cute. She's such a lovely girl, and I adore her name, it just makes me smile. 😀
