Bailey

Bailey is a five year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who lives with her family in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is very much in charge of the goings-on in her house and spends tireless hours keeping the Dachshund in line.

Bailey loves her stuffed animals, and keeps very close tabs on her purple cow, mallard duck and hippo. Like most Corgis, she is very food motivated and loves her homemade treats and sweet potatoes. Though she’s not particularly fond of strange dogs she has a few dog friends in the neighborhood including a Westie, a Yorkie and a Great Dane.

Bailey loves to ride in the car (with a seatbelt of course!) She has traveled as far as Georgia to the cabin on the lake, though it doesn’t matter to her where she goes as long as she’s included. She loves when family visit for parties and on holidays. This year, much to her dismay, Bailey dressed as a clown for Halloween (and appeared in the blog’s Halloween Costume Contest).

She is becoming quite the athlete in agility and has moved up into the Advanced Beginner’s class.

She adores her Corgi “cousin”, Gertie, who lives down the road. She loves going to visit with Gertie where she gets to run in the field, explore the woods and play in the creek. Usually, Boo the cat joins in on the fun, too!
