Five year-old Mandy is the alpha dog at her place outside of Lawrence, Kansas, where she bosses around a sixty pound Walker Hound and an eighty-five pound Lab mix.
She also enjoys herding the horses, cats, and goats on her family’s fifteen acres.
It’s obvious who’s in charge around here. I AM the Corgi!
Mom Sherry W. says Mandy adores Winter, when she gets to frolic regularly in the snow. “She stuffs her nose down into it and tosses it up!”
Hmmmm, sounds like Mandy will be making a repeat appearance on one of the blog’s Snow Dog Sundays later this year.
“She’s a little thicker than she ought to be, but so are her humans”.
All in the family!

Welcome to The Daily Corgi, Mandy!
You are the cutest little boss I’ve seen in a LONG time ;-).

We used to have a "Mandy" but she wasn't a corgi. Now we have the 6 corgis, and OC looks a lot like Mandy… right down to the "thicker" part! LOL OH… but it is SOOO HARD not to over treat those faces!!!
OC is STILL head honcho around here, even IN her wheelchair (She's 11 and was injured by a mean goat when she was 5 and lately the arthritis has gotten to her) Size doesn't matter when there is an Alpha Corgi around! Nice to meet you, Mandy!
