Back in March I posted about a little female by the name of Ruby, a rescued puppy mill Pembroke who was in foster care awaiting placement through Daily Corgi reader Jeanne DeMars’ organization The Corgi Connection of Kansas.
Today I’m excited to be able to share the good news about Ruby: in May, she was adopted by a wonderful woman in Texas, who drove all the way from the Austin, Texas area to west of Kansas City to meet and adopt Ruby.
Ruby has made a lot of progress. She is learning to play and explore without being terrified all the time. “It was hard to let her go” says Jeanette, “but my goal was to get her into a good home and learn how to be a loved pet.”
VICTORY!
I was grateful to learn that Ruby’s appearance on The Daily Corgi helped lead to her eventual adoption. May she enjoy a long, richly deserved happy life in her forever home!

What wonderful news! Now, I can foster another dog!
Can I put you on to one in my area? Strider is at All Breed Rescue and Adoption, Inc., Griffith, Indiana. He's so handsome.

Margaret,
Of course! E-mail me: thedailycorgi@gmail.com
If there is a URL to a page with pics and information on Strider, that would be great to have.
