UPDATE, as of July 25, 2010:
GOOD NEWS!
Linda at Pet’s Second Chance tells me Finley’s been placed and is as happy as can be. “He is the only dog and already spoiled rotten!”
“Finley goes with the family everywhere, even the children’s soccer games. His Mom is a gardener and told me that finally her yard is rid of moles and bunnies. She also manages a garden/nursery shop. The first week in his new home Finley was on the website.”
“The boy is certainly in his forever home!”

Look at all the love in that photo!

Original post of June 8th:
Pet’s Second Chance of St. Louis, Missouri currently has several Corgis in foster homes awaiting adoption.
The super-handsome Finley is one of them.
I love my fence. It keeps out the riff-raff!
From his petfinder.com listing:
Finley is completely house broken, crate-trained, knows basic obedience commands (sit, stay, come, wait), and is friendly too. He’s a beautiful dog, but it doesn’t stop there — he’s smart as well! Finley is affectionate with his humans, enjoys being a lap dog and will give you plenty of kisses, if you let him. He sleeps quietly through the night in his bed next to his foster Mom and never makes a peep.
Can you handle all of this wonderful?
Finley was hit by a car and lost a leg, but he doesn’t allow it to limit him from doing all the things a dog should enjoy. He’s healthy, he’s happy, he’s not looking for one ounce of sympathy. What he’s looking for is a house to call his own, where he can run and play, and do all the things every energetic two year old dog wants to do.
Finley is neutered, micro-chipped, has all vaccines, and is both house and crate trained. He is fine with cats and older, well behaved children.
I think this scarf accentuates my smile, don’t you?
If you live in the Metro St. Louis area and are interested in Finley, please visit Pet’s Second Chance or read more about him here.
NOTE: Pet’s Second Chance places Corgis and Corgi mixes in the Metro St. Louis, MO area ONLY; they do not ship and do require home visits and a contract before placing a Corgi.
Are you the lucky dog who’ll welcome Finley into your home?
