The thatched cottage was presented by the people of Wales to Princess Elizabeth on the occasion of her birthday. Furnished both inside and out, the four-roomed dwelling including a kitchen and bathroom fully equipped with working appliances. The front garden featured scaled down hedges and flower borders.
