Deeply heartfelt sympathies go out to Jan B., a volunteer/foster/rescue Corgi person in Arizona who had to say goodbye to her Murfee yesterday.
Jan writes that Murfee, who was one of the Dogs of the Day back on April 22, “was 13 with a bad heart and had been on meds for a year … it was just getting the best of him and yesterday he stopped eating … the decision was hard, but I know it was the right thing to do.”
“Not that anyone really knew him, but we Corgi folk do stick together and I could use all the support I can find.”
Jan and Jordan, consider yourself supported, loved and cared for in your hour of loss. You undoubtedy have the understanding and solidarity of many, many people in The Daily Corgi community and beyond. We don’t have to have known Murfee to know how wonderful he was … he was a Corgi, after all!

Sorry about your loss as I lost my Corgi "Boots" in 2001
It's so difficult to have to make that decision for our friends. Hoping you can soon find peace and comfort in your happy memories of good times spent with Murfee.
Please accept my condolences for your loss. It always is terrible and very hard to lose a furkid, however Murfee looked like he had a very fun, loving, and happy life with you. Winston sends lots of corgi kisses your way.

Please accept my condolences for the loss of your dear beloved Murphy, I lost my corgi Honey 3yrs ago, I too had to make that hard decision, she had spinal problems and it broke my heart to see her in such pain.
I still miss her to this day, I find comfort in knowing she is over the bridge and that she is happy and in no more pain.
There are not sufficient words to express my sorrow of your loss. Having experienced 3 of my own all within a year a one-half, it is a heart breaking experience that I would not wish upon my worst enemy. Very sorry. xoxox
So sorry for your loss. Murfee was obviously a very loved corgi kid. Sending comforting energies your way as you grieve him knowing he will be waiting for you at the Bridge.
Oh Folks..so sorry to hear another corgi over the bridge, another family so very sad. Murfee will stand out in heaven, so handsome, and obviously loved, loved.
