GOOD NEWS UPDATES:
12/9, 6:30 PM EDT: THE RESCUED MIX NOW HAS A NAME, it’s SUGAR!
Daily Corgi reader Marci B. (who rescued her from the shelter) named her Sugar because this young dog is very sweet. Although she was completely frightened on the four hour ride home, when they arrived Sugar chowed down, drank up, “did her business” and is now safely resting in her crate.
Marci’s other two dogs (Corgi and Doxie) wanted to play with her right away, and Sugar was A-OK with that!

Just an update to anyone paying attention to this guy and for those of you that have contacted me:
I am still waiting to hear from the woman that pulls from this shelter. I have tried contacting via email, and even called the shelter, but am still waiting. I have had an offer for a back up foster in Texas (thanks Tricia) as well as additional money to help get this guy out. The process is frustrating and nerve-wracking to say the least, but I'm sure the woman who pulls from here has her hands full!
He has until tomorrow evening, so I am hoping that we can get him out on time. I will keep everyone up to date as I hear anything!
Thanks Laurie, for posting. I appreciate it.
Cross your fingers for this guy everyone!
Thanks!!!
Anitra

Thank goodness! I felt horrible and helpless about this story. I was waiting for the happy ending! If I lived closer my 2 pups probably would have had another sister!!!
