I’ve just started into a most wonderful new book: Dogs of Proud Spirit, by Melanie Sue Bowles.
On her Proud Spirit Horse Sancutary in Arkansas, she and her wonderful husband live with many rescued horses, cats and dogs — including several Corgis, some of whom graced The Daily Corgi 2011 Calendar.
Is this crew not an amazing bunch of short stack sweethearts?!
I figure I’m pretty darn lucky to have Melanie on board as a part of The Daily Corgi community.
Thanks for the books Melanie! I have a feeling I’ll soon be a big fan of horses too!

It always intrigues me how they can get that many corgis to look at once. Some serious treats must be involved, as I know that is no easy feat (and I only have two!)
