Although he was named after musician and composer Percy Grainger, this Cardi-licious boy is known to his family as “Grainger the Arranger”, because he likes re-arranging stuff in his home.
“His knack for interior decorating means that any glove, hat, sock, or small item will — at any point — be moved to a location known only to him in the house or the backyard” writes Mom Sherry M. “In his opinion, no toys, clothing, or personal belongings are off limits.”
“If Grainger could talk, he’d tell you, “what’s mine is mine, what’s yours is mine, and what you think is yours is really mine.”
“A true cuddle and snuggle connoisseur, no lap is left un-sat upon. All couches and chairs are meant to be shared with his people, and of course, this also means that he should be rubbed or scratched. His favorite place to sleep at night is between his Mom and Dad, belly side up.”
“A fierce protector of his yard (which to his mind means if he can see it, it belongs to him), Grainger has taken it upon himself to rid the yard of any birds that dare enter his space. Squirrels and rabbits are on his top five list of critters to conquer. The rabbits and birds have got the message loud and clear. Occasionally a frog, fly or beatle will dare enter his Corgi Kingdom, but they quickly get the message and move along. If not, they are eaten. The squirrels, however, have yet to accept Grainger’s edict; thus, a good deal of squirrel stalking occurs in our backyard and through our back windows.”
“When not fiercely defending his yard, Grainger can be found swinging in the hammock with one of his peoples, soaking up sun on the porch, or grazing on whatever veggies happen to be hanging over the garden fence. Green beans, peas, and tomatoes are his favorite.”
Lovin’ on Dad Kelly.

His entry in last year’s Daily Corgi Halloween Costume Contest!
“Grainger came into our home as a rescue two years ago, and has definitely found his forever people: Sherry, Kelly, Drew, and Sam.”
Sharing butt space with Wags.
He has his own facebook page where he shares his thoughts and adventures:
“We cannot imagine life without him. Grainger is such a character and has been since the first day he came home. He is very loved!”
