“Hi everybody, my name is Moose!”
“This was me waiting for my Daddies to bring me home to Asheville, North Carolina. I was a surprise Christmas gift for my Daddy!”
“I’m on the left. The other cutie is my little sister Mij.”
“She went to live with my Aunt Georgie, who’s teaching Mij the ropes. I hear they can stir up some trouble! When I grow up, I want to be as big as Georgie.”
“YAY! Home with my Daddy! We look alike — so handsome you can’t tell us apart — which one is which?
(Hint: I’m the happy Corgi on the right).”
“Who me? I didn’t take that sock, I found it there! I figured I’d chew on it if I had nothing else to do. I love chewing on Daddies’ socks, and the sock doesn’t seem to mind.”
“I try to stay out of trouble but sometimes it’s soooo hard! This is my “don’t I look cute?” face. Daddies can’t resist this face — I know how to work ’em!”
“This is me and my other Daddy, during a long night at the vet getting my first shots. I don’t know why those people kept poking me, but Daddy took care of me and laid down with me so I could rest. This big dog loves to sleep.
Thank you Daddy!”
“Look at me, I’m getting big now! I like to get in the window and watch Daddy come up the sidewalk. Welcome home, I miss you when you’re away!”
“Now that you’re home can we play some ball? Daddy throws it down the hall and I chase it. It’s my favorite game, as long as the ball doesn’t get near the vacuum.”
Did someone say ice cream?
“I like to rest after a long night of chasing the ball. Here I am waiting for my next favorite thing, FOOD! I like mixed veggies, fruit and baked chicken. This Corgi eats like a king!”
Wow that flower looks delicious!
“I’m a lot of help in the garden, where I prune the plants and dig the best holes to put the flowers in.”
“I’m glad it’s warm outside, so I can chase the big ball around the yard. My mouth isn’t wide enough to eat it yet, but I’ll keep on trying.”
“Break time. Where’s the water? I’ll be back to take care of that ball, now I’m off to see what else I can get into. My yard is big and I can explore all day!”
“I love my vet, so I was thinking I could be one of those when I grow up. On the other hand, I like hunting for bugs, so maybe I’ll study entomology and hunt for bugs all day! What? I can’t eat the bugs when I find them? OK … vet it is!”
“A hard day of play wore me out. I couldn’t walk anymore so Daddy picked me up to carry me. You’re wonderful, Daddy … thank you.”
“I love it when I can just relax in the clover. I stretch my little drumstick legs out behind me and enjoy the breeze. Wait … I think I smell another bug!”
“I’ve discovered birds — there’s one now! I try to be really quiet and let them get close so I can pounce. Sometimes that doesn’t work because I get so excited I have to chase them. Oh look — a squirrel!”
“Oh geez, the squirrel got away, but I’ll take the opportunity to show off this cute Corgi butt. It drives my Daddies nuts!”
I see you looking at my cute butt!
“It’s OK, Daddy gave me this shoe. It’s my favorite; I’ll lay here for hours chewing it.”
“Don’t go yet, I didn’t get to thank you for visiting me today! Maybe I can come back to The Daily Corgi again soon and tell you what else I’ve been up to.”
“Bye for now! I’m going to play ball with my Daddies!”

Love the pics and commentary ! Always makes me smile to see yet another corgi getting all the love they deserve, and as a Tar Heel, like seeing so many corgis from our state !

Moose is celebrating his moment in the spotlight by rolling in a mud puddle! And coming back to my office to make sure I see him! True Corgi fashion!
