Two summers ago, I got the crazy notion to start The Daily Corgi. Out of thin air (and a rabid obsession with Corgis).
In early days, I recruited perfect strangers to feature their dogs here. Now I’m booked months in advance.
At the three month mark, I was thrilled to have 100 followers on the facebook page: now the number approaches 6,000.
My tweet-ees surpass 700!
My tweet-ees surpass 700!
The amazing community of people who visit The Daily Corgi has given thousands to Corgis in need, and donated generously to fund research into degenerative myelopathy, which takes too many of our low riders’ lives.
Well … what can I say but WOW?
This incredible community of readers and supporters has made doing this work deeply meaningful for me.
And downright fun.
It’s too great a privilege and pleasure meeting all these wonderful dogs — and equally fab people — to consider stoppping anytime soon.
So I won’t!
If you would like to support my work, the easiest way to do that is shop through any of the amazon.com boxes/ads you see on the right hand side of the blog, below the masthead. A small percentage of every purchase you make through the blog makes its way to me, and I donate 25% of my commissions to CorgiAid.
This costs nothing extra. Amazon.com thanks me for sending business their way, and CorgiAid can always use support. (They rock!) Because I am unable to work, a few extra dollars here and there means a whole lot to me.
So THANK YOU, everybody. Really and truly, from the bottom of my heart.
KEEP on KEEPIN’ IT CORGI!

I'm so glad you do what you do. =)
I was, I mean Chloe and Zoe were, one of the early recruits and I am proud they have been a part of your blog.

My day is not complete if I don't check out the Daily Corgi when I get up and before I go to bed.I just can't function without it. Love it, no, obsessed with all the Corgi's.

Thanks, you guys. It's been a remarkable ride. There are so, so many good people out there who care deeply, for both their own dogs and other peoples' too. I couldn't do this without the active participation of the reader community!
