Annelizabeth’s friends suggested that her Pem Ellie’s floppy ears made her “less of a Corgi”.
So she tried to fix them, even though Ellie insisted that floppy ears keep the bugs and rain out and give her a look of
perpetually puppy-ishness.
In the end, Ellie got her way — and the ears did too.
“I yam what I am, Mom!”
