Heather C. finally got her first dog — Duncan MacLeod Callahan — a few days before Christmas in 2009.

“After deciding I was ready to have a dog, I looked for him for six months before finding him through Tri State Corgi Rescue in West Virginia. He came all the way to Connecticut from West Virginia, and has been making my life better ever since he arrived. I’d like to thank them for giving me such a sweet boy.”
“Two year-old Duncan is amazing with kids and follows my friend’s three year-old daughter around everywhere she goes. At times, he listens to her better than he listens to me! She also has a little toddler sister who Duncan likes to lie down next to while she’s in her swing.”

“He also loves to give anyone who will let him tons of kisses.”
“Duncan is all energy and doesn’t believe me when I tell him he’s little. His best friends are German Sheperds. The first time I brought him to a dog park he played with a Great Dane. He loves to run and keeps going until I almost have to carry him home.”
“He loves to eat, everything from vegetables to any treats he can get, or any food he can steal when someone isn’t looking. His favorite toys are the Nylabone dinosaur and bone, and anything with a squeaker or stuffing is destroyed in minutes.”
“We’re going on vacation in a few weeks, where we’ll be swimming and berry picking along with lots of other activities. I think I get more joy out of watching him do things than anything else. He brings such much joy and laughter in my life … I am so lucky to have him!”

God bless you and your beautiful corgi! I wish there were more people like you on this earth. You have changed that corgis life forever. I am so grateful there are people such as yourself and the whole daily corgi that really care about the well being of these doggies. I love you guys and my heart is touched.

You are so blessed to have a Corgi, they are just the best all around dogs you can have. Duncan is also blessed to have such wonderful family to give him love and lots of kisses.
