Lucky Krystle B. welcomed Luna into her life in October of 2010.
This little Pemmie was an early Christmas gift to Krystle from her Dad.
Bringing Luna home!
Although not a dog person, he had fallen in love with the sociable and loving ways of River, her previous Corgi.
With best friend Remi!
Although River was in Krystle life for a short four months, they bonded deeply.
Read her thoughtful blog post about missing River and moving on HERE.
“I’ll always miss her. She was a special one. A little ray of sunshine.”
She’d have turned one at the end of April.
Frolic forever in heaven’s sun-dappled waters, River!
Luna at three weeks
“Luna was a gift from my father, because he saw how losing River affected me. He told me if I found a dog that I wanted, he would find a way to get it for me …
At five weeks
… and then I found Luna.”
“I wasn’t sure if I could handle another red and white Pemmie, but went to Corgi events and when I didn’t cry but laughed at their antics, I knew I was ready.”
Luna giving Belle the business!
Road trippin’ …
Ready or not, I’m heeeeeere!
“Sometimes I really think River sent this silly little koala butt down to me, because even though she and I were together for such a short time, River had a good time while she was with me.”
Luna at the San Diego Corgi Meetup, Del Mar Beach
“I’m hoping to develop Luna into a therapy dog someday.”
Charming cousin Mena.
The new kid on the block: six year-old Twinkie
“I just adopted another female on Sunday.”
“I’m a little nuts, but she needed a home and I had the room.”
Luna’s pantaloonies!
Aww Krystle, let’s be honest: you can’t just have one Corgi for too long.

Welcome to The Daily Corgi, all you beautiful girls!
I love the pictures that you picked! Thank you so much for featuring all my girls.
So apparently Twinkie is actually only 4-years-old. Checked her records with my vet this morning and was told the wrong age for her.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, but glad that River sent a new family member or actually 2 to you.
Cute photos! River would be proud
