You might remember Also, the cruelly mistreated Corgi mix rescued by the Houston branch of Dogs Deserve Better.

At the time of his rescue, this poor guy was chained to a tree, had no food or water, and was covered in filth. He could barely stand and was so covered in fleas that he was actually actively bleeding from numerous areas due to flea bites.”
Two months later — with the loving care of Dogs Deserve Better’s rep / foster Mom Ruthie and the generous giving of Corgi Nation to help cover the costs of his vet care — here is Also today …
… lookin’ like a whole new dog!
Ruth says Also is ready for his forever home. “He’s on heartworm treatment. He is smart, sweet and still has a lot of puppy in him, i.e. trying to take my undies, socks, shoes, etc., when I’m getting dressed. Also is housebroken to the doggie door and gets on well with my other dogs.”
“My friend commeneted on his personality change since I brought him home, observing that Also is fiesty and full of life compared to his previously defeated and broken manner.”
“I know he is very happy to be alive.”
