GIVING for BAXTER’s CARE is NOW at $962 (and rising)!
It’s been less than 24 hours … I am thrilled, and so are Baxter’s Mom Anitra and Paige of CorgiPals, who’s behind the Helping Paws for Baxter campaign.

Anitra reports that Baxter is feeling his puppy-ish self this morning. He just got dropped off at the vet’s for the day, where he insisted on pets from every person there.

He’s currently very excited about his Grandpa’s visit. “We woke up this morning, and after Baxter went outside to do his duties, he went and lay down next to the bedroom door and cried for his Grandpa.”
“He’s just the best. :)”
Friends, as you can imagine, Anitra’s got a lot on her plate right now. She may not be able to read or respond all of the supportive comments, suggestions and inquiries as soon as she’d like, but please keep leaving them. As you know, the support of community means just about everything in life’s roughest spots.
THANK YOU for the donations as well … keep ’em coming … Baxter would wag his tail if he had one! You’ll just have to settle for a virtual Corgi lick or two :-).

THANKS everyone for all of your support so far. It feels like there are only two hours in a day, while feeling at the same time like there are 40 hours in a day, if that makes any sense! Bax is at the vet for the day right now, doing what is called "Staging" for his treatment. Hopefully we've caught this early and don't get any more bad news, paws crossed!

My heart goes out to Baxter and his family. I went thru the nightmare of being told a similar diagnosis for my little Hunny, but God blessed her with a much better outcome. I'm making my contribution and know many others will as well. God bless you all.
