Baxter thoroughly enjoyed the big fundraising benefit in his honor last weekend, and life’s been pretty good this week. So far so good, no side effects from his first round of treatment.
He’ll have a second round of chemo this Tuesday, and his doc said that at some point after that they’ll do another ultrasound to see what’s going on in there.
You can see Bax’s note to his fans about the benefit HERE, on his facebook page.
Later this month he has an appointment with the alternative/complimentary unit of the vet hospital, to see whether there are any supplements/dietary changes he might benefit from.
On the fundraising front, his Helping Paws Fund ChipIn donations have reached $4,830! The benefit reaped another $550, so the total has now passed the $5,000 mark.
It’s a BARoOoOoOoooo-tiful thing!
A shout out to Baxter’s best buddy Alvin too.
Alvin, you ROCK!

Keep your ears up, Baxter! You have such a great family and support system. You are one lucky guy! And they are lucky to have you 🙂
