Fellow blogger Mike Burk and the very handsome Hank are down at the AKC / Eukanuba National Championship in Orlando, Florida.
A tip of the nose to Mike for his live report (and best of luck to you both)!
“There are 27 (Pembroke Welsh) Corgis entered: 16 dogs (males), 11 bitches. There may a few no-shows. All of the entries are Grand Champions, most have professional handlers.
There are other events besides the conformation show: indoor, grass rings make the Agility viewing fun for the dogs and spectators. It’s fun to watch Corgis do Agility, no one can believe how fast they are with their short legs.
Obedience and Rally areas are set up so the spectators can watch all these amazing dogs go through their courses. There are water jumping competitions too; Belgian Malinois are better at this than Corgis, they seem to be the dog of choice.
There are nearly 200 booths set up for Meet The Breed. Each club has a booth with dogs so the public can learn about each breed. The Corgi booths are always popular.”
Go Corgis go!

Oh, what I would give to see so many corgi's in one place. That's got to be a short roomful of fun!
