Gimli of Tennessee is an active elder gentleman who enjoys other dogs, snuggling, chasing, snuggling, tug of war, eating, and of course, snuggling. He has little patience for the two-legged youngsters, so households with kids aged 10 +, please.
Despite a sensitive stomach, this Cardi boy loves treats and belly rubs and is constantly grinning at life. Having spent his entire life with only one family, he does have some separation issues when his family leaves, but when his people are home house he’s glued to their side (or as close as the nearest La-Z-Boy). Despite his age (9 years) he has plenty of energy to run, chase and go for long walks. He follows basic commands and is an excellent leash walker.
Gimli’s foster Mom Susan says he “smiles all the time and sends us into fits of hysterical laughter when he sometimes grumbles and snaps when we get him up for breakfast. He was staying in bed, thank you very much! Gimli is making himself at home here and it will be hard to let him go, but he deserves the best Corgi home possible.”

Happy is sweet little un-spayed female Corgi (mix?) found as a stray in Austin, Texas. Her foster Mom Amy says Happy “had no collar, no chip, and tests positive for heartworm, for which she is being treated.
She is completely submissive (the belly-up kind), herds, does not chew furniture, and is great with kids and other dogs (we have three).”
Happy was found on her own by the side of the road on North Loop in Austin. Efforts to find her owners have turned up nothing.
“We want to cast a line for finding Happy a forever home and think she could do great with a person with a quiet life, although she’s been great with my loud one.”

Mr. Buster Brown is a six year-old red and white Pembroke Welsh Corgi looking for a new forever family. Currently living in Corinth, Texas, he is neutered, current on his shots, heartworm negative and on preventative. Buster is housebroken, leash trained, good with other dogs and older children.
Although he has the energy and playfulness of a three year-old dog, he needs a home without small kids where he’ll get a lot of attention.
