“A little bit about my Corgi self … I am NOTHING like Mickey the Corgi dog. Unlike him I am a real Corgi not a prop! I run, I bark, I protect Mommy and I’m not afraid to get down and dirty. I capture mice and everything else that might harm the humans. I am also a good hauler. I must admit I don’t know any tricks, but who needs tricks when you look like this?”
“I found my Mommy when I was at a pet store. She would come every weekend to see if I was still there and surely enough I was, even after four months! One day I heard Mommy asking the pet shop lady what happened to the older dogs that didn’t get sold when they were puppies, and was told “That usually never happens, but when it does we send them to a place where they only sell older dogs.”
“Mommy left that day feeling weird about the whole situation, so the following weekend she and Dad got me out of that misery. I hear Mommy saying all the time she’s against purchasing animals but that day she had an eerie feeling.”
“What pet stores cater only to selling older dogs?” she asked Daddy. I’m so happy she got me because Doglord only knows what would have happened.”
“I am a Momma’s boy all the way. I follow her everywhere she goes and I love to snuggle with her. When I’m not snuggling with Mommy I like to chase my older brother Mickey and bite his little legs. BOL! Have you seen his little tiny legs? Mom says I’m a supermodel because of my beautiful LONG white legs.”

I don't know what it is about Corgis. Maybe the little short legs or the cute little butts. They steal your heart regardless the circumstances you find them in. Love her real good and give plenty of daily belly rubs and she's yours for life!
I too have a Corgi named Max. He is quite the scamp and he too is mommy's boy. We live in Massachusetts.
Look out Miss Maddie, here comes Max. I love that name, it is my dad's name, and he was a pistol in his day.
