First day home …

“Jasper has been the joy of my life since I picked her up almost three years
ago now. I had dreamed of a Corgi for a while and she gave me just what I’d

hoped for: she is just so cute and so bright, and those eyes can melt my
heart in a second. Jasper is my sunshine and my heart belongs to her.”

|
Getting to know one another: with Great Dane Kenya, soon to be best buddy
“She came home and just took over big sister Kenya and Sally, my two Great
Danes. Her first day home she was already acting like she owned the place,
|

|
and she hasn’t stopped since!”
“Now I know beds are made for Corgis. The first night I took her in my bed
and she slept like a baby until morning.”

|
Sleeping with the pack … tough life, isn’t it?
“At night when I brush my teeth, she jumps into my bed, rolls over, her paws
pointing in the air, and stays still ’til I come to the room, knowing for sure she
will get love and kisses because I cannot resist her sweet face and loving eyes.”

 Kenya became Jasper’s best buddy, in a relationship that only they understand.

  Kenya to Mom: “Not even a week and she’s already taking up the whole sofa!’
“Kenya has that sweet, calm, tolerant character and Jasper is just the
opposite. She is bossy! Corgi is the master of the house and Kenya can
move only one eye if Madam says she can.”

“They had some fights in the beginning, but I showed those two who the
real boss is around here and they found a way to co-habitate. Kenya
just turns her head in the opposite direction when the evil little Corgi
|

jaws come too close to her, and Jasper instantly calms down when Kenya
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
gives her the grrrr!”

“In Jasper’s mind, I’m sure she thinks Kenya is her sheep to guide; she gets her
going where she wants her to go. It’s so funny !

“I guess you can say that Corgi rules, and her energy seems limitless, no matter
no matter what the day brings. Jasper has so much energy running around for
no apparent reason (ed. note: FRAP!), but can also be very patient when needed
(e.g. sitting and waiting for me or for something to happen).”
“Still, there are some moments when her energy just goes … “

 Pooped out after a day of hiking …
 Flat busted!
 Battery recharging, do not disturb!
“Jasper loves to follow me around the house; if I’m out of sight, the little devil
just can’t take it and runs around the house looking for me. And I love it!”

“She stands in front of the bathroom door waiting for my while I’m in the shower,
every time. Did I mention she is so adorable, and so bright?”

“The things she wouldn’t do for a treat! Every trick gets fixed in her little head
within a minute. She even tries to anticipate what I’m going to ask her, just
|

|
by watching the movement of my hands. Jasper is so smart!”

|
“Just spread some peanut butter on your fingers and there are those Corgi eyes.
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Just put food on the counter or anywhere and there are the Corgi eyes —
every time!”

|
“They say dogs can’t understand a word of what we say, but anyone who has a
Corgi knows THEY understand!”

 Future master of the house!
“She listens to me by staring at my face, the one ear standing straight up
|

in the air, twisting her head a little bit and then she gives me her sweet adorable
loving look she knows I simply can’t resist.”

|
“I wish I could take her everywhere with me, but right now I can’t. I work in
a big office building, but I promised her that I will soon. She deserves it so
much — and so do I! When I come home at night, she always welcomes me
with so much happiness, licking my face and twisting her little tail with so
much enthusiasm, I cannot imagine life without her.”

Jasper sounds like a keeper for sure. I love the fact you also have two Great Danes, yet the corgi rules the house. Thanks for sharing your babies with us.
