Oliver (aka Ollie) is a seven month-old purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi (tail included!). He came from a rural area near Boise, where he spent most of his short life in a crate and had very little exercise or human interaction. Luckily, Ollie is a resilient little guy with a lot of spunk and a ton of energy. He has a great Corgi smile and the trademark personality that comes with it. He enjoys being around people and gets along great with other dogs (although some do not like him), and I am unsure about cats.
Ollie loves to go for walks, peanut butter Kongs, and his stuffing-less pheasant toy. He needs a home where he will be part of the family as an inside dog. In Ollie’s seven months, he has been in three different homes, so I would like him to go to a place where a move, children, lifestyle changes, or other upsets will not compromise his family’s ability to keep him; in other words he needs a forever home.
As of this Saturday, Ollie will be up-to-date on his shots. According to his foster Mom, “heartworm tests are done infrequently in the area as it is rare for in-state dogs to acquire it. However, I would have the test done per request if the potential owner would like”.
Ollie would greatly benefit from learning manners in a puppy training course or with an experienced owner. Ollie will be neutered on May 14th, is up-to-date on shots and will be ready to meet prospective families around May 18th. For more information about Ollie, please contact his foster mom (Danielle) via e-mail at danielle_dore@yahoo.com or 208-850-9570 (leave a message if no answer).
