Yes, it really happened. And there was some or other fellow by the name of James Bond there too. Click the pic to view the video and feast your eyes!

This is only a portion of the entire short film. Haven’t been able to locate the full version yet — or at least one that’s viewable in the U.S. (copyright issues). My favorite bit is when Bond smiles at the Corgis … even he isn’t immune to their dangerous charm!

Great! But I'm told there was a subsequent scene where the Corgis look up at the ascending helicopter…does this cut off too soon?
Laurie Eno / The Daily Corgi says
Hi wetmore2,
You're right, the very beginning and end of this are cut off. I haven't been able to find the entire version for viewing in the U.S., as the IOC has banned it on grounds of copyright infringement.
Darn!
Molly The Wally says
We agree the Corgis were true thespians. Have a great day.
Best wishes Molly

I was so excited about this!!! They stole the show! I made my whole family sit and watch it over and over and tried to explain to them that I am like the Queen and should be treated like one because I have three corgis! 😉 Thanks for sharing the video Laurie!

My corgi was sleeping on the couch and I woke him up when the Queen's corgis made the big screen. I screamed "corgis" and my husband came running up the stairs to take a look for himself. Our corgi, jumped up and started barking at the TV screen. The corgi's stole the opening ceremony in my book.
