Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to my first weekly guest spot on The Daily Corgi! I am your host, Paige Davis, of a little company you might know by the name of CorgiPals. Every Wednesday, I’ll be doing a guest post to keep you up to snuff with the goings-on in the CorgiPals world. Buckle your seat belts Corgi Nation … with four campaigns currently running at once, my first week is a doozy!
First up we have the beautiful Ginny, a red-headed Corgi girl who shares a home Diggory, her Rat Terrier mix brother. But wait a second … Ginny and Diggory?… “Red hair and hand-me-down leashes … She must be a Weasley.” Harry Potter fans, this one’s for you! Sweet Ginny recently became extremely ill after chowing down an entire pack of gum, and had her mom Emily worried sick! This little warrior kicked some serious Xylitol-demort BUTT and is now on the road to recovery. Click her picture to read her full story.
Next up we have Kate, the stunning five year-old Pembroke. This Corgi girl likes to spend her days romping around on the farm with her three canine siblings, including Corgis and a Lab/Shepherd mix. One of their favorite games to play on the farm is Chicken Bowling, but these fun activities have recently been halted due to a nasty bout of bladder stones and Kate needs YOUR help to get back on her feet. Third up is Mr. Ozzie, the derpy-go-lucky five year-old Pem with a big heart and a bigger smile! Just two and-a-half years ago, Ozzie’s mom brought a new baby brother home for him to play with, named Monte. The two have been inseparable ever since and play constantly! A few weeks ago, however, Ozzie started to lose his spunk … due to internal bleeding. As it turns out, he has an autoimmune disease that causes his body to attack its platelets. Click his picture to read his full story and find out how you can help him!
Finally, another story of a magical little guy who got his name from the wizarding master Dumbledore himself: Meet Albus! The excitement that Corgi Mom Phoebe felt about bringing home her first puppy was abruptly cut short when Albus got violently ill within a few days of bringing him home at just 10 weeks old. The diagnosis was one that no puppy parent ever wants to hear: Parvo. Luckily, little Albus did some magic of his own and banished that Parvo monster! He is now six months old and loving life, but the bill for his treatment is staggering. Click his picture to read his full story and help a puppy out!
Albus says: Beating Parvo is tiring stuff! |
So that about wraps it up for this week. Next week I’ll have an announcement, a handy list you’ll want to check out, and hopefully some updates on this fabulous foursome. Stay tuned and don’t forget to check our website and Facebook page for regular updates!

Sophie's Mom says
Sophie had a gum incident, too. And as soon as we brought her home from the ER after her treatment, the stinker ran right back to the scene of the crime looking for more gum! Glad this little one and all the others came through their treatments with flying colors.
