“Benny came to us as a puppy” writes Christine D. “He slept at my feet for almost three hours as we drove home.”
“He was a sensitive puppy
quickly who figured out what to chew on and what was off limits.”

He ain’t heavy, he’s my Daddy!
“We soon
learned he loved to swim and adored the “long legged women” of the dog

“His “jobs” are playing fetch and keeping the front door closed
by snoozing against it. As an arthritic older man of 10, he has
found his second wind thanks to the care of an outstanding vet and a regimen of medicine. He plays
with his younger brother Fozzie and enjoys some time basking in the
sunny yard now that it’s cooler.”

“Benny is my baby (I have no human children). I’m a photographer and he always makes a fun subject. Right now he’s likely battling cancer. There’s only so much I’m willing to put him through. I’ll spoil him rotten and when it gets to be too much for either of us,
then I’ll know it’s time for Benny to go.”

“My hope is to have him by my side for a few more happy months. He still has so much energy and sparkle in his eyes. Although I’m sad, I’m
happy that I still have this time with him.”

Corgi on long and strong, Benny!

My goodness, Benny is sooo cute. Serious little dude when the camera comes out. LMPP takes a lot of soulful pictures too. Benny and you are lucky to have Fozzy to help in the times to come. I would like to say that I applaud your brave decision to spare Benny from the added challenges that aggressive treatment can bring. I believe, that in many situations, palliative care only, is one of the most brave, and loving, and generous choices that we can make for our beloved fur babies. We wish you a happy and pain free Holiday Season. Rebecca & LMPP
