For 2013, Franklin’s New Year’s resolutions include eating more treats, rolling in more stinky things, and hiding his ears better.
Commendable resolutions, one and all!
January 6th: Getting down to business on a rotten fish carcass. Booyah!
Being the clever Corgi that he is, Franklin wasn’t content with just a few New Year’s promises. Oh heck, those are all easy ones for any Corgi worth his salt.
His hu-Mom Melissa L. noticed one day that Franklin began hiding behind small trees and light posts when it was time to
go home after walks. “It was like he was thinking “maybe she won’t see me
and we can play longer” writes Melissa. “I stared having him hide in different
places and he has taken to the game with gusto.”

“I honestly think Franklin
knows EXACTLY what is expected of him. None of the photos have
been photoshopped and he will often pose perfectly with very little
prompting from me.”
“We’ve been doing the game for a little over a month
now and its been a lot of fun.” Franklin now has his own facebook page, where followers can try to spy him in a fresh photo every day.
As the game goes on, wily Franklin is getting harder and harder to spot. Can you find him in this one? I’ll be honest, it took me a few frustrating minutes!
This one’s no cake walk either.
Slightly easier to find indoors … and clearly in on the game!
Franklin’s fame grows by the day, and his hijinx will eventually benefit other Corgis with a forthcoming book full of his “where am I now?” photos. He and Melissa are partnering with Purple Collar Pet Photography to publish a Find Franklin photobook in the next few months! A
portion of the profits will be donated to CorgiPals, a non-profit organization devoted to the health and well being of Welsh Corgis in need of urgent veterinary care.

Very clever! what a handsome boy, Franklin is! I look forward to the day the book is published! Maybe I'm biased, but I really think corgis are the funniest dogs. My new little girl Adeline is a riot!
