morning everyone, and welcome to my nineteenth weekly guest spot on The
Daily Corgi! I am your host Paige K. Davis, founder of CorgiPals. As you know, every week I’ll be doing a guest post to keep you up to snuff with the goings-on in the CorgiPals world. This week’s theme: Announcements Abound!
|
update is all about telling you things! Very important things. First, a little business announcement. As most of you know, ChipIn will be shutting down on March 7, 2013. As such, I have been forced to find a new funding site to fit our needs and I’ve decided that Fundrazr is the best fit for CorgiPals. I will be updating the pages for each of our current clients in the next week or so to include the new widgets (example here). Each page will reflect the total raised via ChipIn and a new total for each client. This new total will include the remaining total left over from where ChipIn left off, and also includes a 5% increase of this remaining total to account for the 5% fee that Fundrazr charges for their services. Please excuse the “mess” on our website for the next week while we transition. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Paige at corgipals@gmail.com.
Second, a numbers update! Many have asked how the current clients are doing in terms of reaching their goals. It’s going to be difficult to keep up with the stats while I transition to Fundrazr on the website, so hopefully this will help!
Finally… an announcement that many have been waiting for. I’m happy to announce that our next auction, Spring Cleaning for Corgis, will take place from Saturday, March 2 through Saturday, March 16! The auction will, as always, take place on our Facebook page. If you have items you’d like to donate, please send a description, quantity, suggested starting bid, and picture to Paige at corgipals@gmail.com.
I leave you, this week, with a new video of my baby girl, Violet. This is what she does when she wants Dexter to chase her and play 🙂
That about wraps it up for this week. As always, please spread the word about our Corgis in need and keep on Corgi’n on!
Oh, and don’t forget… CorgiPals has a company goal that we are trying to reach. We are trying to get our Facebook page to 5,000 “likes” by the end of 2013. We
are currently at 4,114 fans! Please spread the word to help us reach
our goal! Remember, every person who knows about CorgiPals is one more
soldier in our army fighting for Corgis in need all over the globe!
