When Bill and his wife Maggi P. lived aboard their boat for a year, this is how they transported Annie Rose to shore. “She hated getting her feet wet” recalls Maggie, “so Bill would beach the dinghy, set her bag on dry land and out she would hop.“
“After we moved ashore, she and I became a therapy dog and Reading
Education Assistance Dog team. Annie Rose worked tirelessly at her job until
she was nearly 13 years old.”

“My husband and Annie adored one
another. Sadly they are both gone now. Bill died in April of 2008,
and Annie Rose, mourning him, passed away six weeks later. I know that
they are together in a bright star.”
