forever home quite yet. “I moved in with this family and their other doggie” he explains. “He was cool and all but I really didn’t want to hang out with him. I
wanted the humans all to myself. They should only play with ME. They
should only love ME! What’s wrong with that?”
He’s now in a new foster home with five other doggies to get a little training. Max plays a little with another Corgi Connection of Kansas foster in the house. He is still looking for that right adopter who will be consistent with training in manners, love him despite his size, and give him the time and attention he needs and deserves.
Despite his overgrown size (42+ pounds) and guesstimated
age of two to three years, Max still acts like a puppy. He loves to
play with his people, but smaller kiddos would not be good around him. This big boy is tall enough to
put his hands on the counter tops. (Hide the pupcakes!)
Max reminds us (boisterously) that he LOVES to run
and chase squirrels and play with squeaky toys. “They need to want to play with me. I love to play! I want a family that will take time to teach me the basic manners
they say I lack. I’m an escape artist and would do best with a secure fence so I don’t slip out and run away.”
probably do best as an only fur kid (I can be a butthead when it
comes to sharing toys). I don’t potty in my kennel or the house. If you want to love me, help me
learn to be a great boy and play with me, you can e-mail Jeanette with CCK at jeanette@corgiconnection.com. Make sure to mention me by name, Maximus. Oh, and I am able to move out of state if you are willing to come get me.”

I am praying, Max, that you find the just right home. You sure are handsome!
