Last week, rescued Pembroke CC (formerly Candy Cane) graced the blog with her smiling face. A recent intake with Corgi Connection of Kansas, she had checked into the Kansas State University Veterinary Health Center for a double hernia repair.
The surgery was a success and she’s on strict crate rest for three weeks. CC’s full of spunk, so it’s not going to be easy!
“She is such a sweetie and so energetic” says CCK’s Jeanette DeMars. “From what I can tell so far, CC is going to make someone a wonderful Corgi!”
Corgi On, CC!
