Littermate Pems Pipin and Sammy live in Park City, Utah with their Mom, Dad and African Gray Parrot brother.
Got biscuits?
“They walk to Main Street each day for the mail, and wait at the bike rack” writes Mom Kristen S. “Each store has dog treats for the neighborhood pets.”
Pip’s goofy grin and distinctive ear.
Pipin is named after Perigran Pipin from the Hobbits. “Short legs, big ears, very loyal. He is always so happy and ready to play!”
“Our Pipin is the ‘Love Bug’. He loves life, eats all he can, wants all the hugs and kisses he can get, chases his brother while he works at fetching, rolls in the mud and anything that smells. He especially loves a bubble bath!”
Sammy is named after the Hobbit Samwise Gamee. This guy is “all business”, always alert, ready to work, fetch, run and hike any trail, anytime or anywhere, as long as it’s followed by a nice, long nap.
“Sammy is the “Pleaser” who snuggles at your feet and follows where ever you go. He waits his turn, and will give up his favorite bone if you ask.”
Riding shotgun!
Saturday in the sun, on the sofa, with a smile. Life is good.
Both boys love the outdoors. “They swim in ponds in the mountains of Deer Valley behind our house, climb the hollows in the Fall, roll in the snow all Winter, and swim in the ocean when they visit Grandma.”
Snow frosted Pip!
“The Corgis have both learned to swim really well, and jump from the ledge or shore after their toy. It has been great exercise, as well as a great way for us to relax while playing with them.”
They each have their faves: Pipin loves his stick and Sam chooses the ball.

Closer to home: adventures in the backyard
“They run all over the house every morning, wrestling and playing chase. Sam and Pip are the light of our lives.”

Our corgi is named Sam after Samwise Gamgee too! I think corgis are a lot like hobbits… they would really like to eat breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner and supper if they could!

Love Sam and Pip, they're awesome!

If you think corgis can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving out only two of them!

We also have a Pippin after Peregrin Took. I agree with Sarah: corgis are definitely like hobbits!
