Harry made his first appearance on The Daily Corgi in the summer of 2012. He was a rescue from a horrible puppy mill.
Harry had been kept in a cage his entire life and did not know how to walk on a leash when his adoptive Mom Gigi took him home. His body was riddled with scars, his ears and feet were moldy. He rarely made a sound.
With plenty of patience and time, Harry healed and blossomed. He got the chance to be a dog. To do what dogs do best: simply love and be loved.
Gigi writes this morning that she has given Harry her final gift, helping him cross the Bridge. He gave her a life lesson in the value of adopting a “second chance” animal, and she is forever changed. Gigi would like for us all to remember Harry’s smile and the way he overcome his sad start in life. To remember that ADOPTION IS AN OPTION. Not just for Corgis, but all dogs. All pets.
We are the change for these animals. You and me. It’s up to us.

bravo for turning an innocent creatures life around! Who could do such a thing? I would like to believe it was under some unusual circumstances such a dog would be treated in such a manner and not 'on purpose'!
Every thought and memory about Harry will add that much to his legacy, hes still there watching you and remembering how u changed his life every day.
