Buddy came to Corgi Connection of Kansas through an on-line posting. He was being given away for free. The woman who had him apparently saw this adorable little boy get tossed from a car. She stopped and scooped him up. Some time after that, Buddy was reportedly shot! In spite of his hard luck, Buddy doesn’t have any lingering health issues from a rough start in life.
“Hi, my name is Buddy!
I am what my foster mom calls a loverboy. Not sure what that means, but I know I want nothing more than to be on top of you getting lovins! The more lovins I get, the happier I iz! I’m a young pup, around 3, and I have some learning left to do. But my foster people are working hard on my manners. I get along great with all kinds of people, and my foster brother, but sometimes I play a little too hard. I love kids, but I may not be a good fit for little kids. I would love to have my very own boy or girl, though!
I’m pretty well trained to be an indoor Corgi, but I do have accidents every once in a while. I’m working on that too! I love to make my people happy! They tell me that I am a good shop dog, which means I get to come to work with my foster people and meet new and exciting people all day long! When when I’m not greeting people, I’m sleeping peacefully on the couch, or under my foster people’s desks.
My big brown eyes will melt the hearts of anyone who dares to look into them, and I can’t wait to break in my very own family! If you think you could be my new mommy and daddy, please visit the Corgi Connection website. I want to see your applications flying in!”
Buddy has been neutered, vaccinated, tested for heartworms (negative), is on preventative and has been micro-chipped.

Hope he finds a home soon. How could anyone just dump him?

Any idea how he might be with older cats?

I have had Corgi's for 30 years. They are great dogs. I have 3 dogs now and am at my limit but I shared on fb in case someone wants a new corgi buddy.
