Adoptable #Corgis: Dynamic Duo Derek and Titan of Kansas!

“Folks, we are two of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. Trust us. We’ve known one another our entire lives, and we’ve got each other’s back. No funny business here. No siree!

Because we grew up in a good breeder’s home, cared for and nicely socialized, we are ready to put our pawprints in just the right family’s heart. Our eight paw prints.

What’s that, you say? EIGHT paw prints? Yep. Because the Corgi Connection people say we really ought to stay together, and frankly, we do too.

Me, I’m about six and Titan is three. I’m the larger and longer one, with a very light colored coat. I could stand to gain a pound or two. Although I’ve got more confidence than the little guy, I am content just to lay at your feet.

Titan

Titan is more unsure of new situations and environments and wants to be close to someone. He’s a real lover, just happy to sit on a lap. And he’s not pushy, either. Just the lap and he’s good to go.

Titan

He’s got a dry eye condition and needs drops in his eyes three times a day. Other than that, as far as we (and the rescue people) know, we’re pretty healthy!

We came from the same line, so could be related somewhere in the family tree. We certainly share the handsome gene, do we not?

The both of us get along with other dogs, but if another dog is mean to us, we’ll go back at it, and maybe the next time even start it. You should know, though, that we were initially fostered with five other dogs and were just terrific. We like to play with each other and other playful dogs too!

We’re pretty good on a leash — I mean, we don’t fight it — but don’t really get the whole “going for a walk” concept yet. We’re crate-trained and will need a little work on housetraining. We do our “business” when let outside, but haven’t necessarily figured how to tell you we need to go outside.

Corgi Connection says Derek andTitan are both neutered, current on vaccinations, have had their teeth checked and cleaned, been heartworm tested, put on preventative, are on flea/tick preventative and are micro-chipped. The adoption fee is $275 each to help pay for all the services.
