Last week, Thursday Adoptables featured the story of Sully, who found his forever home through Corgi Connection of Kansas. This week, we have an update on this adorable Corgi mix!
Mom Jessie writes: “First of all, he is still an angel. Spoiled, but an angel at the same time.”
“He is a champion snuggler, and recently has got in the habit of waking me up for breakfast by licking my face or chewing either my hair or Matthew’s. He loves going for walks, racing his friends across the fence (the neighbor’s dogs), and playing with our friend’s dogs that come to visit,or vice versa. He sits in my lap when we eat dinner, just to make sure everything looks okay. And if I need a nap, Sully will let me know by keeping me on the couch.”
“Recently, we went out of town. The car trip was 12+ hours, so he stayed with my Mom, who recently got a dog herself. And she is completely enamored with Sully, sometimes referring to him as her first grandson. Matthew’s mom is also completely smitten with the angel. She bought him almost as many presents as she did her grandkids, this last Christmas!”
“Since then, I swear he’s gotten bigger. He is up to 15 pounds now and pushes the limits of the original bed we bought him. Aside from the recliner and couch, he also has a bed big enough for him and one of his friends to relax in. We can take Sully pretty much everywhere we go (except work, still working on that, but I’m only a few minutes away). He is the star of the show everywhere we go! I feel so lucky having him around. He is the apple of so many people’s eyes.”
“Sincerely, thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you and everyone else with the Corgi Connection of Kansas does. Our lives are so much brighter with Sully around.”
