This magnificent mug first graced The Daily Corgi all the way back in July of 2009, shortly after start-up! Nearly six years later, a face like that is still as fresh as ever.
In honor of Bryson and all the wonderful Corgis who have made this blog what it is, today we revisit his first post.
Thursday Adoptables will return tomorrow, with a good news update on a formerly featured rescue!
The oh-so-handsome, five and a half year-old Bryson has so many gorgeous shots on his family’s website and flickr stream that it is almost absurdly difficult to pick just a few! Not only is he massively photogenic, the quality of the pictures is quite good.
A former show dog, Bryson’s not vain about his classic good looks. In spite of having Addison’s Disease, Bryson retains his zest and enjoys extra TLC from Mom and Dad. Favorite things? Romping through the woods, hanging with his best friend Picasso, and the random discovery of Delightfully Stinky Things to cover himself in. (Cow dung, anybody?)
His household is set to grow soon, as Mom and Dad anticipate the arrival of a baby girl. Can you imagine? The lucky kid will start off in life seeing a Corgi everyday! That’s a head start on happiness right there. The flurry of change that comes with a newborn will no doubt excite him, but at the end of the day Bryson is likely to be as pooped as anybody.
After all, hard-working big brothers gotta rest too.
