Three and a half year-old Pembroke Jezabell is a working dog, spending her days with her Mom Heather in an accounting office. Jezabell keeps it Corgi in Englewood, a little beach town in SW Florida.
She has a couple of Doxie cousins named Fredo and Samantha, and a Basset named Mimzy, but Jezabell’s favorite play pals are cats Oswald and Blossom. “My house is a zoo with the three of them, but I love it”, writes Heather. Jezabell’s favorite toy is a hedgehog named Buddah, and her pink rubber ball. “She will literally fetch from 6:30 a.m. until bedtime.”
Jezabell loves to go to the beach to chase the seagulls, meander down to the water when its calm, dig in the sand, roll around on seaweed, and meet new people (of course). She likes riding in the car, and has even been as far as Cleveland and Pennsylvania. She likes to sit on the first step in the pool while her Mom swims, bringing her toy in and setting it down next to herself in the water.
Jezabell is a music kind of dog. “She loves to run around the house with me while I clean and listen to music. I can tell by her expression if she likes what I am listening to” says Heather. This personality-plus Pembroke enjoys her daily Beneful meals, but won’t turn her nose up at the occasional small steak, chop meat or chicken and rice.
“I have to say, the best thing about being a Corgi owner is that no matter how long you have them or how much time you spend with them, they always surprise you. This is the first dog I have ever owned on my own and she is the most amazing thing in my life. No matter what kind of day I have, I am glad when I lay my head down that I have such a special individual by my side.”
“I love her so much I even got a tattoo of her on my arm. I have always, always, always loved animals but I never thought I would have a pet that changed my life. I went throught some pretty crazy stuff and then I found Jezabell. Things have never been better.”

What a great story, Heather. Thanks for sharing Jezabell with The Daily Corgi!

Jezabell! Nice to meet you, too! Sounds like you've got a really nice Mom that loves you a lot! I used to have an Uncle JR that was a cat when I was little and I loved him a lot. He thought he was a dog and I haven't found any other cats that I like, though most I've seen have been wild and are good to chase! 🙂
We live in CA. Mom says your beaches have warmer water than what we have here so maybe that's why you like that water. I like playing with hose water, but not baths or that beach water that chases you! OC from Corgi Country
