Pittsburgh’s Shelby is a five year-old Pembroke Corgi Taste Tester. There are very few foods she won’t try — and probably eat.
A lot of.
It’s a talent, what can I say? I’m equally good at mud-bathing.
According to Dad Matt W. “We literally haven’t found more than a handful of things this dog won’t eat, from fruits to vegetables to anything you might be clumsy enough to drop. She’s a four-legged vacuum cleaner.”
Yogurt. Yum!
Whaddya think …
… could The Pirates use a new mascot?
The seventh-inning stretch. Look at that form!
“This month is the fifth anniversary of when she came to live with us, and we can’t imagine life without her. There are so many day to day moments when I think to myself, ‘She’s too cute for her own good!'”
“Shelby’s quite a character, and you couldn’t ever ask for more companionship from a dog.”
Yep, that’s Corgi 101.
A very scary Corgi-dragon. “Corgon”?
On walks around the neighborhood, Shelby greets every single person she meets with a wag of her nub and a good face cleaning if she can sneak a lick in!
(Ed. note: a good doggie face wash is the highlight of any day … Shelby, come and visit Boston!)
Besides eating, Shelby enjoys Corgi-typical exploits like playing ball and barking at cats from the window with great gusto. Cuddling every day is, of course, a MAJOR must.
And napping. Power napping IS a Corgi sport, after all!

Three cheers for Shelby!
And the Pirates!
Welcome to The Daily Corgi, you charmer.

OMG!!!! I have always loved Corgi's (my sister has 2) but was never lucky enough to get one. I will someday though. We have a huge White Shepherd who doesn't "play nice with others" so I need to wait. Yours is just adorable. So much character packed in to a little body. Love it!!! Glad I stumbled onto your blog. Thanks.
