You might remember Gracie from the facebook page, where she appeared last week as a “Camo Dog”, with her piercing blue eyes peering out from behind a bush.
Today we get to see five year-old Gracie in all her Blue Merle Cardi glory!
Mom Mary K. says Gracie loves to pose for the camera “like the diva she is” .
Wouldn’t you, if you looked like this?
She also spends lots of time teaching her stuffed animals about the joys of being a couch potato.
“Occasionally she does her imitation of that mystical creature, the Summer Aquatic Chupacabra! Here she is attacking those incrediby rare tennis fish. Look closely now — you may never see this again in your lifetime!”
“When not swimming, Farmer Gracie loves to grow corn & tomatoes. Sometimes she does need to go into stealth mode to protect the corn from the perfidious squirrels.”
But after a hard day in the yard, relaxing on the cool grass by the patio is a welcome break from the action.
These are snow pics from just before Christmas. “It was about 20-24 inches deep. We had to carve out a trench along the side of our house (about 75 feet long) for Gracie, the snow was so high. Then she got the zoomies and ran up and down the trench til she was totally pooped out. Unfortunately the sun was so bright, she was actually squinting in most of the shots. Can’t really see those baby blue eyes. We had to go physically pick her up to get her to come inside at the end of the day — she is just a snow addict!”Mine, all mine!
“Gracie is our second Cardi” writes Mary. “We had our first one (Yankee, who was Gracie’s 4x great aunt) for over 16 years.”
Her Philadephia neighbors call her “Gracie The Wonder Dog” …
… easy to see why!* * * * *
Welcome to The Daily Corgi, Gracie the Wonder Dog!
