Before she moved to the U.S. with Toosie, Sandi says her fur kid loved the snowy Northern winters. Now that they’re living the Cali lifestyle, this Pembroke enjoys romping at Half Moon Bay. On visits to see Gramma in Santa Barbara, she makes sure those beaches get a workout too! Tootsie Roll is always up for a walk by the lagoon, because you never know when there might be a flock of birds in need of herding.
Deck the hall with boughs of biskies!
“The Roller” rides shotgun with Dad. She’s always the second “body” in the car when he goes ANYWHERE.
Babies and seniors? Loves ’em all! Toots is gentle goodwill canine ambassador.
Though she doesn’t play ball and has no use for any toy that squeaks (?!), Tootsie is definitely all Corgi. She loves her dinner and knows that her personal chef (Dad) will always make sure her meal is topped off with a few scraps.
Walking group pals Mr. G., Gracie, Foxie and Perky.
Tootsie was terribly shy at first!
Snuggling with Jackie, Mom’s other love.
“Her favorite food is dark chocolate and was able to break into it just once. That’s not to say she isn’t on a constant lookout for one of us to make the same mistake again.”
Chocolate and dogs do NOT mix well!
How great is this, huh?
Mom + fur kid + beach = happy!
Hanging with Roxie.
Fun al fresco: an outdoor concert.
Sunshine smile!

Mom’s plate. Says it all!
“I don’t think so.”
With Ella, Tootsie Pup’s first friend in Toronto. Ella was deaf rescued dog. “They started out walking on two different sides of the street, each had their own issues” says Sandi. “They eventually became fast friends and Tootsie soon became Ella’s ears, allowing her more freedom to romp in the parks.”
The holidays can be so exhausting.
Lovin’ up Auntie Deeeee!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Does this snow make my butt look fluffy?
Her very own igloo.

I'd say that girl struck gold! She is gorgeous and seems to be a happy camper.

She looks like she has the bestest forever home!

I love happy endings!
Sooo happy for the family and for the cute corgi Tootsie Roll Pup. No dog deserves to be neglected, abused, or mistreated. Very happy that caring people do exist. Kudos!
TR and (Laurie – your blog) always turns a tough day around. Toots looks like a romper. I know a little corgi olive that would roll with the TR.
She is just gorgeous ! I am so glad you have each other :-)….But dark chocolate ? I thought that was toxic to all dogs ?
What a beauty! Our two pems come alive in snow, and from every corgi blog I've read, they all adore snow. Great pics! Great corgi~
