Patsy Tyson calls her Pembroke Conner, who came into her life three years ago, “the best dog ever!” While she’s not completely certain, she believes her very special boy is about four and-a half-years old.
A year and a half ago, Patsy got married. Unsurprisingly, Conner also won the heart of Patsy’s new husband. “When hubby comes home at night, he and Conner go for a walk on our property. Conner looks forward to that “Man-time” every evening. They walk together and even if Conner wanders off, he always keeps one eye on hubby.”
The only downside? “Hair! The shedding is something to get used to. When I take Conner to be groomed and come home to an empty house, I feel so empty inside. I miss him so much when he is gone, I can’t wait to pick him up.”
Conner came into Patsy’s life via her nephew. Conner showed up at his house one day out of nowhere. Because they already had a dog and a couple of cats, they took him to the Kansas Humane Society. The next day, Patsy met her nephew for breakfast and it was then she first saw Connor’s picture. There were at least twenty calls in about adopting him, and in a twist of fate the would-be adoptive parents had received orders to move to the Phillipines and just released their adoption agreement. They returned Conner (so named by the shelter) just ten minutes before Patsy phoned, and she was fortunate enough to be the one to scoop him up.
Conner and his family live just outside of Wichita, Kansas.
“To me” Patsy says “my Welsh Corgi is my everything! “
